These terms govern your use of BuildWise, an AI-powered construction estimation platform. By creating a BuildWise account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use BuildWise.

The service
BuildWise provides AI-powered tools for construction contractors: conversational lead intake, AI-generated estimates, quote-to-cash workflow, calendar booking, receipt tracking, and analytics. The service is accessed via web browser at buildwise.one (and any future domains).
We are continuously improving the service. Features may be added, modified, or removed, though we try to give notice of material changes.
Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at hello@buildwise.one.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your business to these terms to use BuildWise.
Subscription tiers and billing
BuildWise offers a Free tier and a Pro tier. Feature differences are described on our pricing page. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. New Pro subscriptions include a 30-day free trial.
After the trial, Pro subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel from your account's Billing settings at any time — your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period, then reverts to Free.
We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you've been billed in error, contact hello@buildwise.one within 30 days.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use BuildWise for any illegal purpose, or to violate any third party's rights
- Attempt to access another contractor's account or data
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the service beyond the normal agent use
- Upload content that is malicious, unlawful, harassing, or infringes copyright
- Use BuildWise to send spam, deceptive messages, or unsolicited commercial content to your clients
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your content
Your business configuration, client conversations, estimates, receipts, and uploaded photos belong to you. You grant BuildWise a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you.
When a client interacts with your BuildWise quote page, the conversation data belongs to your business for the purpose of the project. You are responsible for handling your clients' personal data in accordance with applicable law (including privacy regulations such as GDPR where relevant).
We do not use your content to train AI models or for any purpose beyond operating BuildWise for you.
AI-generated content
BuildWise uses third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude) to generate estimates, conduct client conversations, and analyze photos. AI output is a suggestion, not a guarantee. You are responsible for reviewing and approving every estimate before it is shared with a client, and for the accuracy of the pricing and scope information ultimately sent to your clients.
BuildWise makes no representation about the accuracy of AI output. Do not rely on AI output for safety-critical or legally binding decisions without independent review.
Intellectual property
BuildWise — the software, design, documentation, and all derivative works — is owned by BuildWise and its licensors. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use BuildWise for its intended purpose. Nothing transfers ownership.
Feedback you send us about BuildWise may be used freely to improve the service.
Third-party services
Calendar integration, payment billing, email delivery, and SMS rely on third-party vendors (Google, Stripe, Resend, Twilio). Your use of those integrations is also subject to each vendor's terms. BuildWise is not liable for outages or errors caused by third-party vendors.
Warranty disclaimer
BuildWise is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific business needs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildWise disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildWise's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to BuildWise in the twelve months before the claim arose. BuildWise is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or consequential damages — in those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify BuildWise against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
Termination
You may stop using BuildWise and delete your account at any time (contact hello@buildwise.one or use the account settings flow when available).
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, suspected fraud, or non-payment. When we terminate an account we'll try to give reasonable notice and let you export your data, except when we cannot (e.g., for legal or security reasons).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of BuildWise will be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll post the new version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced by email. Your continued use of BuildWise after changes means you accept the revised terms.
